Combo deal ! Champion pool cue and ST cue, Pro taper, 12.5mm, 13mm

St-14 cue:
Cue has crooked joint / collar, crooked shaft, crooked butt. Wobble is large and unusable for good pool playing and worse than bar sticks. Grip is like super slippery plastic and nothing like leather. Tip diameter was correct at 13mm, and joint type was correct with the typical industry standard 5/16x18 flat joint. Came with a straight / conical shaft taper, not a pro taper. No joint protectors. My personal straight shafts were put on this butt and still wobbled but way better than the shaft that came with this cue. Overall look was fine, just horrible craftsmanship and quality.

LPC-1 cue:
Immediately noticed a defective Irish linen grip with one color on the top half of the grip, and a different color on the lower half, like they cleaned the bottom half with some kind of bleach cleaner. It's joint type was specified the same as the ST-14, but was a different joint. The cue had significant wobble. Shaft was not straight and the joint / collar was off. Wobbled a little less than the ST-14 but was too crooked to send to a customer. My personal straight shafts worked slightly better than the LPC-1 shaft, but still too wobbly due to the bad joint/collar. Did not have the two red lines of the upgrade Tiger Everest tip specified, so who knows which tip they used. The decorations in the lower butt sleeve and forearm did not align perfectly, and the decorative points in the forearm were crooked. Wood color in butt was not as dark and rich like in the pictures. Came with a pro taper shaft profile, not conical like the ST-14. The tip size came at 12.67mm, not 12.5mm. Pretty big difference for the modern automated pool cue manufacturing industry. Functionally and cosmetically defective. Poor craftsmanship and quality.

2x2 Hard Case:
Never used it but seemed decent (a little cheap), thin cheap interior liner down into case bottom, and the cue dividers (not hard tubes) don't come up high in the case meaning shafts and butts could bang against each other if you drop the case. Pockets not as roomy as other cases as they are not very deep.

One Free Glove (not two as per combo deal title):
Cheap expandable one size glove that runs medium small before being stretched. Stitching goes right into the finger tips and is uncomfortable if fingers fill the finger material, and worse if you have a larger hand and have to stretch the glove and finger fabric. My med large hand was too big for this glove. Base of glove would not fully reach my wrist joint. Finger fabric can be loose length wise for small hands, and width wise, too tight for wide hands or thick fingers.

Champion product quality is not good, and customer communication and service can be bad too.

My first purchase was a Lost Pieces LPC3 I just had to try a Break cues when I found a combo kit with a LPC3,case,glove,magnetic chalk holder I so glad took
another look.Love the quality, variety of products.They LPC3 has been a great
addition to my cue collection.There service has been excellent! I own a couple
high end cues,I'm not seeing any difference in my game using Champion cues.
You cannot go wrong with spending your $ you save with these cues.

I actually have several sticks from this maker. They are a very fair price especially because they are such good quality. The spider design on this stick is perfectly etched in. It has a perfect balanced weight. It comes with a case, a glove and some pockets on it to keep those accessories in it.
